Our Holbrook Base camp is outfitted with a comfortable cook tent where we serve delicious family style meals and where guests can stay in wall tents outfitted with a wood stove, cots, a table and chairs. In addition, we have a shower tent and can use the sun to heat up a solar shower, or on colder days, we can provide warm water for you. In the evenings you can sit around the campfire and tell stories, play campfire games or simply relax and watch the milky way appear in the night sky above you.
Holbrook Base camp is close to some of the Bob Marshall’s greatest natural treasures: the Chinese Wall, Needle Falls, Big Salmon Lake, Flathead Alps, Gladiator Mountain, Haystack Mountain, Turtle Head, Scarface Mountain, Bullet Nose Peak, Ptarmigan Mountain, Big Prairie Ranger Station. We can organize guided day rides to these landmarks, or include them in our roaming itinerary. There is excellent fishing up or down river from our basecamp and along the White River. This prime location allows guests to experience the wild beauty of Montana’s wilderness and fish for native cutthroat trout and bull trout.
